What mounting system do I need for my Rev Tent?

The Rev Tent is ready to rock for sleeping on the ground or in the back of a pick-up truck (w/ a bed at least 48" wide) right out of the box. If the Rev Tent doesn't fit inside your vehicle for transport to the camp site (it's 47.25” L x 42.25” W x 8.5” T / 120 cm x 107 cm x 22 cm), you will need a way to attach it to your vehicle roof to get it to your camp site. See our various Rev Tent Mounts.

To sleep in the Rev Tent on top of a vehicle, you'll need the Rev Rack Tent or the Rev Roof Top Tent X.

If you'd like to camp higher later, you can always add on the specific mounts for a roof rack or purchase our Rev Platform X.

Where are the instructions?

We've gone digital. All instructions can be found on the specific product page in the SUPPORT tab. Our instructions are designed to be viewed on your phone or tablet. If you're going to need instructions while offline, away from the internet, be sure to download them first!

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

All orders placed by noon Pacific Standard Time will be fulfilled that same day from either our Salt Lake City, Utah or Knoxville, Tennessee warehouses. All our products ship via standard ground shipping. You can expect to see your gear in 1-2 days, depending on your proximity to our warehouses. NOTE: This info is only relevant to shipping in the lower 48 states.

Do You Ship Internationally?

We do. You can order direct here, or call us so we can help with a shipping quote. European customers can shop locally at MOORLANDS.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Amazon checkout, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay and Affirm for payment plan options.

How do I return an item?

If you’d like to make a return or exchange, PLEASE CALL US FIRST at 1 (323) 831-8183 for a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number). For more information on returns READ THIS.

Do I have to pay anything to return my items?

Depends. If there's a problem with the product, no. If it's been less than 30 days and you are not happy with your product, and you didn't get Free Shipping, no. In most other circumstances, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

Do you warranty the other brands you sell?

While all warranties are covered by the original manufacturer, you can handle any concerns through us. That goes for returns also! Just let us know. We've got your back!

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.

Before purchasing the Rev Roof Top Tent, please review these important facts:

  1. You will be adding weight to your vehicle. This will alter your gas mileage (for the worse!). When carrying a Roof Top Tent on a vehicle you may hear whistling and added noise.
  2. Bolting stuff to the outside of your vehicle is not for the faint-hearted! Make sure you read, follow step by step, and understand the installation instructions and ALL WARNINGS before traveling with a Roof Top Tent.
  3. It will take 5-10 minutes to ready the Rev Roof Top Tent for camping. It is not magic! In order to use the Rev Roof Top Tent there are 3 components that need to be set up. First: The tent poles need to be assembled. Second: The platform needs to be positioned. And lastly: The tent needs to be attached to the platform.
  4. It is recommended that you store the tent and platform off of the vehicle when not being used for camping. This will help the gas mileage and prolong the life of your Rev Roof Top Tent components. This is how the Rev Roof Top Tent was conceived. If you want to turn your vehicle in to a full-time, year-round 365 day camping machine, the Rev Roof Top Tent might not be the best solution for you.
  5. Review and understand our return policy. These products are not cheap to ship. And they are just as expensive to ship back if you don’t understand exactly what you’re getting and would like to make a return.
  6. We want you to be fully informed and 100% satisfied with your Rev Roof Top Tent. After all, you’re trusting us with your camp shelter and this is an investment for a lifetime of camping comfort and outdoor fun!
