Product Details

Use the pockets for keys, lighter, pocket knife, glasses, cables, toiletries, while taking advantage of the upper loft to tuck away undergarments or light clothing. 

Features 2 size elastic straps for holding phones and tablets in a perfect clean viewing angle.  While we don’t recommend screen time while camping, sometimes you just have to watch down the days travel videos. Maybe do a little photo editing.  And if cell data is strong enough, wrap up that Netflix binge. We’ll try not to judge.

Q: Will the gear loft hold my iPhone 8? 
A: Should do. The elastic bands have small adjustable clips on the end that grip any phone 6” or larger. You may have to remove your phone case to get the proper tension. 
 
Q: Why? 
A: Because. 
 
Q: Will this gear loft hold my clothes? 
A: Lightweight summer clothes may fit above the loft. The gear loft is more for small items stored in the pockets. The Rev Tent is designed as a “sleep pod” and clothes and larger items are typically stored in your nearby vehicle.

Nice add on option

Perfect fit to hold pocket items and extras within the rev tent. Holds phone or tablet to watch a movie while laying down comfortably.

This item was perfect. because i had use the pockets on the side and started storing my small items inbetweeen the mat and tent and they were getting lost lol. The tent itself has 4 good size mesh pockets inside. It can hold bigger items like our water bottle and book. the organizer on the other hand is perfect for your screen time before bed snuggle movie time. it holds your phone in place and i actually wear glassee so it was perfect secure place for them to get up grab and head on out.

Up and out of the way

There are 4 nets in the sides of the Rev Tents, more than enough space for water, wallets, keys, books,etc. The gear loft is just one more spot to keep smalls super organized. We keep it hanging in the tent when we fold it, plenty of room, and the tablet straps work like a charm for those camp nights when you want to turn in early and veg, it's a real treat for both of us to watch the ipad, up and out of the way. Makes the Rev Tent double as a screening room!

I'm not proud to say it, but I love using this to hold my phone to watch netflix. be sure to download a few shows before you hit the road! Perfect viewing angle.

I ended up mounting it backwards, pockets facing the roof, as I felt my keys etc. might fall out. Pockets aren't very "deep". I think I'd prefer 2 pockets that were a little deeper instead of 4. I couldn't use the phone holder as my phone case is too thick for the brackets to fit. Made a great place to hang our headlamps though, would definitely recommend getting this with your tent. Only used our tent a few nights so far so we're still getting our system down. Very happy with products so far!

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.
