The Rev Roof Top Tent is 4-season, 2-person, expedition grade and lightweight. The modular approach to vehicle roof top camping allows easy 1 person on and off, effortless storage, and the ability to quickly release the Rev Tent from your roof top to pitch anywhere at your camp destination.

There is no need to carry a roof top tent full time on your daily driver. Just hang the Rev Tent on garage wall and only mount to vehicle when camping.
• The Rev Roof Top Tent supports up to 475 lbs / 215 kgs of human; human and dog; human, dog, camp gear; or any combination of the aforementioned.
* Cross bars or a roof rack needed.
** The cross bars should be positioned no closer than 24" / 61 cm , and no wider than 40" / 102 cm. Recommended distance between the bars is 32".
***Vehicle roof and cross bar dynamic (driving) load carrying capacity must be at least 150 lbs / 68 kgs
Included mounting hardware fits all styles of cross bars and rack slats as long as they are no wider than 4” / 100mm and no taller than 1.5” / 38mm

FAQs
Q: HOW EASY IS THE SET UP?
A: Easy. Due to the modular nature of the Rev Tent system there are a few quick steps. 1. Remove the ladder from the storage bag and Rev Tent from the platform. 2. Attach the ladder to the platform. 3. Fold platform open. 4. Pitch the tent. 5. Attach the Rev Tent to the platform at 4 corners. The set up shouldn't take more than 5-7 minutes - no more time than an ordinary roof top tent.
Q: HOW DO I TRANSPORT THE REV TENT & PLATFORM?
A: Most users transport the Rev Tent on the Platform which is attached to your vehicle. You can transport the ladder inside the vehicle or truck bed, or you can transport it outside the vehicle. We at C6 call this packing method the “Pancake Stack.” The ladder, stored in the ladder case, is strapped to the tent, which is in turn attached to the platform. The Platform X kit includes the necessary Rev Straps to hold the ladder case to the Rev Tent.
Q: I'M WORRIED I'M TOO SHORT TO SET UP THE REV TENT WHILE ITS UP ON THE VEHICLE!
A: You might be! Who are we to judge? You can stand on the tires and inside the vehicle with the doors open to assemble the poles, or many Rev experts choose to set up the tent on the ground and then lift it to the top of the platform. Remember, the tent only weighs 25 lbs and can be easily carried by 1 person.
Q: CAN I MOVE THE PLATFORM ALONE OR WILL I NEED HELP?
A: The platform weighs 52 lbs / 23 Kgs. It is not difficult for one person to lift the platform to the vehicle roof before a trip or to remove it for storage after a trip.
Q: CAN I LEAVE THE PLATFORM ON MY VEHICLE?
A: Of course! But because it is easy for one person to move on and off - we recommend you only leave it on during camping season. You’ll get many more years of use out of the product if it is kept out of the elements while not in use.
Q: HOW DO I STORE MY REV TENT?
A: You can keep it on the vehicle. When camping season is over, we recommend storing it out of the sun. While the case and tent is UV protected, you'll get many lifetimes of use if you store it out of the elements. Hang it on your garage wall. If you don’t have a garage, you can store it under your bed, or in a walk in closet. You can even break the mattress down and store the tent in the original boxes if necessary.
Q: HOW HARD IS IT TO ASSEMBLE THE REV PLATFORM X?If you can follow directions and have used a wrench and a screw driver before, not hard at all. There are a bunch of repetitive steps to secure the extrusions. Please view the assembly instructions before purchase if you are at all concerned! If you're overwhelmed or too busy to bother, your local off-road shop or a half way motivated Task Rabbit worker can help you assemble the platform. Assembly takes about 2 hours. What I like about the tent. Flexibility - setup on the on the platform, on the roof rack or on the ground. The tent is well made with quality materials. Easy to setup. Comfortable mattress. Light weight and easy for one person to move. Easy to store.
Setup not as easy as a traditional rooftop tent as it take a bit more time. But once you get used to the setup, it should take less time.

We never thought of adding a RTT to our rig until the C6 was introduced. Very simple set up and compact is what sold us. We are now able to remove the tent portion and set up a base camp allowing us to put it on the ground without out the hassle of take town and set up when we want to explore during the day or night with our rig. Very well built and perfect for the winter times being a 4 season tent. Highly recommend if you are looking for a compact RTT solution and is easy to store when not using. We are happy we purchased

I love my C6 Rev Tent! I love the different camping options depending on where you want to camp. It's light and can hang on the wall in my garage. Compare this to other rooftop camping options and their features and you won't find anything else and best price. Four season tent too! I'm not affiliated with C6 at all but their Rev Tent checked all my boxes for my camping needs. Everyone will have different camping needs. The Rev Tent was a perfect match for me!

My adventure vehicle is also my daily driver. I didn't want a roof top tent on it when I don't need it. I purchased the platform and tent. The platform is light enough that i can remove it and set it by myself. The platform needs assembly and the instruction is on point. It's easier to do this on a big table rather than on the floor. It's a solid unit! The tent is nice and 4" foam is comfortable. It only takes a few minutes to set up the tent.
Also,
It came with a wrist sweat band just in case you sweat tightening the bolts. That's cool. It came with a C6 patch, sticker and extra bolts and washers. It was packaged properly and super fast shipping.
Just in case you change your mind, you have 30 days to return. Read the policy though so there's no confusions.

Before assembling your product, download and read these instructions! While you may be able to wing it, there are important steps you have to get right for warranty coverage and FOR YOUR SAFETY!
The Rev Platform X ships unassembled. You will need to build the platform! All tools are included. You must be able to follow the easy directions and set aside at least 2 hours of time.
These .pdf guides are designed to be read and referenced from a phone or tablet offline while assembling product.
HANDY HINT 1: Make sure you download the file, as you may not have internet where ever you chose to assemble your product.
HANDY HINT 2: If using Acrobat Reader, read the guide in "single page mode".
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in damage to the product, your vehicle, or yourself and others. Please contact us if you are confused or concerned about any of the steps or use of this product.
EXTENDED CARE: Do not use soap to clean the tent body! Soap can damage the protective coatings. Wipe down the case and tent with water and a soft cloth. Every few seasons, consider applying seam tape sealant to maintain the water proof properties of the seams.
To extend the usable life of your tent, we recommend removing tent from the sun and elements when not in use.
When your Rev Tent gets wet, you must air dry it completely before zipping it up. We also recommend storing the tent with a gap in the zipper. Leave an opening for a little breathing room!
FINE PRINT: For use with Front Runner Roof Racks, consider mounting the Rev Platform with the Front Runner Quick Release Tent Mount kit, or the Front Runner Tent Mounts. While the Rev Platform can mount directly to the rack with included hardware, using the Front Runner systems can offer easier access to the mounting hardware and quicker on and off of the Rev Platform. For use with the Rhino Pioneer platform, you can offset the square tracks of the Rev Platform X, or you can drill through the slats in order to mount the Rev Tent Platform. Rhino recommends drilling through their slats for roof top tent mounting and adds “due to the reinforced nylon and aluminum materials of the Pioneer Platform, there is no risk or corrosion or structural weakening.”
PRO TIP:Some vehicles are tall. Some people are short. It may not be physically possible for you to reach all the poles to set up the tent. There is no shame in cheating by setting up the tent at ground level, and then lifting the tent on to the deck. (the tent only weighs 25 lbs). If you do this… don’t forget to BOLT THE TENT DOWN to the deck before entering! And if you’re still reading this - we can’t stress enough - bolt the tent to the platform base before entering!
